This MVP collects only the account, listing, messaging, and safety information needed to operate the marketplace.
Account data
We store your name, email, role, password hash, verification state, and session data so you can log in and use buyer, seller, or admin features.
Listing and profile data
Seller profiles and listings are public where intended. Locations are stored as city/state and approximate coordinates for map browsing, not exact addresses.
Messages and reports
Buyer-seller messages and listing reports are stored so dashboards, inboxes, notifications, and admin review can work.
Production services
When hosted, email, image storage, database, logging, and hosting providers may process the minimum data required to provide those services.
